Kulton received his first keyboard when he was six. He grew up teaching himself chords, then by high school, he started taking piano lessons everyday. He was part of the school choir and other musical performances.
“Music was always a challenge because I was born completely deaf in one ear,” says Kulton, “I started writing and performing music as a way to be heard.”

Throughout the past few years, Kulton has performed at the 0+ Festival in Kingston, TSL, the Pyramid Club in Manhattan, and he toured with Lady Moon and the Eclipse.
When asked how he would categorize his music, Kulton says, “It’s less of a genre, and more of a feeling. I try to capture an emotion in two to three minutes. Sometimes it’s about self-discovery, joy, self-searching, or love.”
