On Sunday, October 25, 2020, a beautiful autumn day, Historic Hudson held an event at the Dr. Oliver Bronson Estate, opening it to the public. Please watch the video above with Historic Hudson President Alan Neumann as he talks about Historic Hudson, the history of the house, and plans for the future.

Thanks for the excellent description of the house , the efforts to preserve it and the plan to create a park. Please provide updates periodically.
This is a trip down memory lane. We lived there from 1953 until 1964. My mother put the wallpaper up. Hope the building can be restored.
Debby Novick Noy
I remember visiting Debby Novick (birthday party?) circa 1962-63 when we were classmates at Hudson High and she was living there. I had never seen anything like that gorgeous house! Thank you Deb for having me and thanks to Historic Hudson for bringing this glorious building back to life.
I agree with my sister Debby. This was a trip down memory lane. I was 2 yrs old when we arrived in Hudson and was in 9th grade when we left. The house looks so much smaller than it did when we lived there. I loved sliding down the banister. I am so happy the house is getting restored. My mother took pride in fixing the house up. It was so beautiful when we lived there. Good luck.
