The former bar at Melino’s is now the counter for the Bodega Aguila Real at 749 Columbia Street. They are open Mon-Sat 10am-7pm. Here’s their Facebook page and Instagram page.
Hector Ruiz, Georgina Macias, and Cecille Ruiz
The owners are a local Columbia County-based family who decided to open up a bodega. They opened last week, and right before the snowstorm put an OPEN flag outside the door. They will soon offer a hot buffet of Mexican food. Their goal is to offer affordable food for the folks of Hudson.
Currently, they offer fresh breads and pastries – pan dulce – that arrive on Thursdays.
Shelves are stocked with food – stop by and check it out!
How great to have a new grocery store – soon with hot food – in Hudson!
Stop in, say HI and wish them well! They are very sweet.
(Tell them you saw it on Trixie’s List!)
I thought buffets were history . . .
And if you order earlier in the week, they have fresh tamales with 3 different fillings for pick up on Fridays at 1.
