Artist David McIntyre talks about is installation, “Step Into Stillness”
Greenport, NY
David McIntyre’s latest art installation, Step Into Stillness, can be viewed at the Greenport Conservation Area, right outside the City of Hudson at 319 Joslen Boulevard.
David’s idea for an art installation outside of the traditional gallery came during the COVID pandemic. “I wanted to bring people out into nature, to help form a relationship to nature and to feel connected.”
David did the the work himself, including digging the holes to mount the frames and pictures. He recommends stepping directly into the center. You will then face the serene, colorful nature images.
