Hi Hudson –
As Hudson enters the middle of January, and everyone hunkers down for a long, cold, upstate winter, I flew off on vacation to a warmer place. So, sorry that I’ve been remiss in my blog and event entries for a week. I brought work with me, thinking I could continue while away, (which is happening now), but I didn’t push out a newsletter last week.
You can always check the event calendar on the site, to see the latest.
Advice to the Hudson newcomers, the best way to survive the cold upstate winter – get out!
It’s January, the Farmers’ Market is closed. Everyone is on a New Year’s diet, and I can’t sell a cookie to save by life.
But by February, the Farmers’ Market reopens in the New Elks Lodge, Saturdays at 10am, best laid plans go astray, and cookie sales go up.
It’s middle of January, in upstate New York, in the middle of a pandemic. There’s not a lot going on. I could make stuff up, but…
Curl up with a good book. Stay safe.
