Hello Hudson!
Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!
It’s Black Friday (are we still calling it that?). You are probably setting up camp outside the Toys R Us to get the latest shipment of Cabbage Patch Dolls. (Did the country really go crazy for those dolls?). Every year, we wondered what would be the toy of least supply. Tickle Me Elmo? Beanie Babies? Beanie Babies had their own trading market – it was like bitcoin of the 90s. Sorry, I’m already off-topic.
Hudson is prepping for Winter Walk next week – get ready! Decorate your windows. Saturday, December 2nd, 5-8pm.
Come visit me on Winter Walk as Trixolina Marie Clauzone, Santa’s bitter, Italian-American ex-wife. Someone once said to me, true story, “Trixie, I love how your character always seems so annoyed. Is that part of your act?” I said, “Yeah, it’s an act.”
Come to Padrona on North 4th during Winter Walk, you can watch me “acting”. Sit and have your photo taken with Ms. Clauzone by a half-Jewish elf and listen to chanteuse Ophelia Nightly.
We take Instamax instant pictures and put them in a holiday card for $5. If/when the apocalypse comes, and there is no more internet/cloud, and your phone’s photo storage is erased, you will still have that instamax physical photo of the two of us. We can admire it together as we shelter in place in JL Edward’s nuclear fallout basement and fight over a can of beans.
Who says I’m not in the holiday spirit?
See you around town, Hudson!
Trix
PS. Pics are $5 and the $ goes to Animal Kind. Stop by.
