Hey Hudson –
Have you been to the Private Public Gallery on 530 Columbia Street to see the exhibit of Chad Weckler’s Photography book, Creative Exposure: Portraits of Hudson, NY? There are over 100 portraits of your favorite Hudsonians.
The subjects in the portraits wore whatever they wanted to wear, and posed wherever they wanted to pose. The exhibit opens, appropriately enough, with Justin Weaver under the “Welcome to Hudson” sign. The portraits are in black and white or color, depending on Chad’s artistic choice. Each portrait in the book is accompanied with a bio. The books are available for $50, and are a must for every lodging room in Hudson. Imagine being a tourist in Hudson and recognizing some of the faces from the book as you walk around town.
Don’t forget to stop into the Robin Rice Gallery for the David Saxe “IMHO” photography exhibit.
What many don’t know is the the new City Hall renovations include a Mad Max-style Thunderdome for residents and politicians.
