The Hottest New Club is
Hy’s Fried Tea Dance

This party has everything.
Disco on vinyl. DJ/County Supa-Visor. Little Orphan Annie with used cigarettes in her hair. Waffles. Ghosts with fake boobs.
Just don’t hit a deer on the way home.
Mrs. Roper Romp, Hudson 2024

How do you explain Mrs. Roper, or even Three’s Company to a Millenial?
She was the landlady of Jack, Chrissy, and Janet. Jack had to pretend that he was gay in order to live with two single women in Santa Monica, California in the late 70s. She wore muumuus and clunky jewelry and she was always horney for her annoying husband, Stanley.
Most of the episodes were about some miscommunication or misunderstanding, most of which could have been easily resolved with one text message.
The Bromance of Herman Melville and Nathaniel Hawthorne
Or
‘Girl, please, call me Ishmael!’
Were Herman Melville and Nathaniel Hawthorne just friends? Or, were they lovers?
Trixie goes to the source, in her Nancy Drew plaid dress, to find out!
