Community Wellness: Free Ear Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine
Rich Maddocks, a Hudson-based Community Herbalist and Acupuncture Detox Specialist, will host a drop-in wellness clinic at the Hudson Area Library Community Room on Saturday July 16. The clinic will include ear acupuncture, ear seeds, acupressure, and a wide variety of free herbal medicines for participants to take home.
Rich will use the NADA protocol, a treatment that involves the gentle placement of up to five small, sterile, single-use needles into specific acupressure points on each ear, and alternative pressure beads for a needle-free experience. Sessions are an average of 20-45 minutes and are appropriate for anyone, regardless of previous acupuncture experience.
No registration is required for this event, sessions will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. This program is presented in collaboration with Spark of Hudson.
