Researching Your Columbia County Ancestors
On Wednesday, April 12th at 6:00 pm, Holly MacCammon will lead a hands-on workshop at the Claverack Free Library.
Attendees will get professional guidance on conducting online genealogy research through this free 1-hour workshop. The computer-based training will provide participants with the tools needed to find web resources available for documenting their Columbia County ancestors, on both free and subscription websites.
Recommended for those who have basic to moderate online research skills and have accounts with FamilySearch and/or Ancestry.com. Workshop is limited to between 8 and 10 participants. If you want to bring your own laptop, please come at 5:30 pm to set up and connect to the library wifi.
