Water Wars!

Join us on July 22nd, 2023 from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm for a FREE IN-PERSON event: Water Wars!

Spend the morning with the firefighters of the Greenport Fire Department and learn to operate a real fire hose! Can you fill the big barrel with water the fastest? Younger children will have the opportunity to use packs that squirt water: firefighters use these to fight brush fires! Get ready to work with brave firefighters to take on this challenge, and see who will “rain” supreme during Water Wars!

After the public portion of the event, Junior Firefighters and Explorers will get the chance to compete with one another during their very own Water Wars! If your Explorer or Junior group is interested in participating or you’d like more information, contact the Museum: kathy@fasnyfiremuseum.com

All activities are FREE and will be outdoors (rain or shine). FREE admission to the Museum will also be offered to all who attend this special event. RESERVATIONS ARE NOT REQUIRED FOR THIS EVENT.
