Water Wars!

Join us on July 20, 2024, from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm for a FREE IN-PERSON event: Water Wars!

Spend the morning with the firefighters of the Greenport Fire Department and learn to operate a real fire hose! Can you fill the big barrel with water the fastest? Younger children will be able to use packs that squirt water: firefighters use these to fight brush fires! Get ready to work with brave firefighters to take on this challenge, and see who will “rain” supreme during Water Wars!

All activities are FREE and will be outdoors (rain or shine). FREE admission to the Museum will also be offered to all who attend this special event. RESERVATIONS ARE NOT REQUIRED FOR THIS EVENT.

The FASNY (The Firefighters Association of the State of New York) Museum of Firefighting is located at 117 Harry Howard Avenue, Hudson, NY, 12534, and is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 am until 4:30 pm.
