Art Pioneers: Women of Abstract Expressionism
Celebrate women’s history as we discover the women who pioneered abstract art: Lee Krasner, Elaine DeKooning, Helen Frankenthaler, and others. Learn about their lives and their groundbreaking creativity in a presentation by Joyce Raimondo, Education Coordinator at the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center and author of children’s art books. Following the presentation, Raimondo will virtually guide participants through Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner’s home and studio – a national landmark in East Hampton, New York.
