Beer, Bites, and Beats for CCRK – Union St. Brewing
Cozy Up with the CCRK Community for Beer, Bites, and Beats—a special night of live music, good food, and warm community at Union Street Brewing! This gathering is all about introducing new friends to Columbia County Recovery Kitchen and celebrating the connections that make us stronger.

Reconnect with familiar faces or introduce someone new to CCRK, and help us start a February tradition together!
CCRK holds its second event, Beer, Bites & Beats, at Union Street Brewing Co, 716 Union Street in Hudson, on Thursday, February 20 from 5 to 7PM. Tickets are $25 and include complimentary snacks made by its two chefs, Tommy Carlucci and Kathy Silliman. Drinks and more substantial meals will be available from the brewery’s cash bar and kitchen. Local musicians, Peter Jung, Colin McCoy and Ambrose Verdibello will be playing guitar, fiddle and mandolin.
CCRK thanks Paul and Emma O’Donnell, Union Street Brewery Co. owners, for welcoming CCRK to the brewery. Both come from the corporate world but have been home brewers for over a decade.
“Our relationship with CCRK is important to us, “says Emma O’Donnell, “as we care very much about food insecurity. As an an organization we want to be part of all efforts to provide regular healthy meals for all citizens in our area.”
Board member Perry Ascher, one of the event’s organizers says : “At CCRK, we’re excited to bring together great craft beer, delicious bites, and live music for a night of fun at Union Street Brewing Company. Beer, Bites, & Beats is the perfect way to shake off the winter blues and enjoy some good vibes with the CCRK community!
Founded during the Pandemic to address food insecurity in Columbia County, CCRK initially delivered 200 meals a week. That number has risen to 2000 meals including children in the Columbia Opportunities’ Head Start program and the Hudson Youth Center. CCRK is continually expanding its reach, responding to the growing needs of the county where over 12 per cent of its population does not have enough food. According to its co-founder, Carole Clark. “Even with over 100 volunteers, CCRK always needs more.
