Classical concert to benefit Columbia County Recovery Kitchen
Columbia County Recovery Kitchen announces a benefit concert at a private home in Ghent on Sunday, August 25 at 2PM. Tickets are $50 and the address will be announced upon ticket purchase.
The program features violinists Emmanuel Vukovich and pianist Ryan MacEvoy McCullough. With a degree from the New England Conservatory of Music, Vukovich is completing his doctorate at Stony Brook University.
McCullough lives in Kingston and has appeared with major orchestras including the Los Angeles Philharmonic and at Tanglewood and with his wife, soprano Lucy Fitz Gibbon, at the Harvard Musical Association. In his spare time, he is a brewer and photographer of the Hudson Valley.
Works to be performed are Bartok’s Solo Violin Sonata, Robert Schumann’s Kreisleriana, Pablo de Sarasate’s Carmen Fantasy and the world premiere of Sheila Silver’s Resilient Earth Duos.
