This Friday! (Dec 6th) CREATE gallery will be open from 4-8pm for First Friday Catskill –from 6-7pm come by to experience THE ALCHEMY OF SOUND w/ Kate Laity on our 2nd floor in coordination with our Arcane Alchemy exhibition.

In celebration of the release of A YEAR OF DEEP LISTENING we gather to embody the words of the sonic pioneer #PaulineOliveros from Deep Listening: “Aural attentiveness can lead to great discoveries. There is an ever-exciting interest in the nexus between consciousness, culture and technology.”

Bring an acoustic instrument or just your voice (no singing experience required) to share in a “sonic tonic”of droning and toning surrounded by art. Add to or simply enjoy the sonic landscape we create.
