D’Arcy Simpson Art Works Presents: Habitual Soothing by Emily Ritz

Join us for “Habitual Soothing,” a showing of new work by Emily Ritz. The opening reception will be held on July 27, 4-6 PM, and the show will be on view until September 1st. In this new show, the physical matter of body and earth underpin the spiritual and transformative. Ritz’s paintings are meditative explorations of a verdant and surreal universe of her own creation. She explores themes of identity, grief and sacrifice, often blurring the lines between strength and vulnerability, pain and beauty.
