Declan McLaughlin & Jennifer Kelly

Declan McLaughlin and Jennifer Kelly are from Derry City, N. Ireland’s vibrant music community.  McLaughlin’s dark theme songs connect working class life with hope, humor, survival and resilience, while Jennifer Kelly’s vocals rounds out the duo’s sound.  In McLaughlin’s latest solo release “My Northern Soul“ (produced by Brian Brinkerhoff/Need To Know Records) he collaborated with violinist Scarlet Rivera (notable for supporting Bob Dylan on his “Desire” LP).  Jennifer Kelly’s keyboard accompaniments and operatic vocals adds to McLaughlin’s material masterfully.  Both are warm and engaging on stage, while presenting darkly beautiful stories in song and sound.
