💚 Benefit for Sweet Freedom Farm: Growing Black Food Sovereignty 💚
A portion of the proceeds from this concert will benefit Sweet Freedom Farm, a Black-grown, abolitionist farm dedicated to food sovereignty, Black liberation, and empowering the next generation of Black farmers. Based in upstate New York, Sweet Freedom Farm has been providing fresh, local produce to communities impacted by mass incarceration, all while nurturing a vision of a world where Black people can thrive on and with the land.
Since its founding, Sweet Freedom Farm has worked tirelessly to grow food, train farmers, and deliver fresh produce to families—especially those with incarcerated loved ones. Through their work, they aim to create a sustainable future for Black communities and build a stronger, more just world.
