The 2005 musical-comedy film version of the outstanding stage musical based on the 1936 exploitation film of the same name. Christian Campbell, Kristen Bell and John Kassir, all who had previously performed their roles in the stage musical, are joined by talents like Alan Cumming, Ana Gasteyer, Steven Weber and Neve Campbell.

The Story Screen Music Film Festival (SSMFF) is a new film festival spotlighting both music-based cinematic storytelling and the songwriters and musical storytellers whose words and music deserve our collective attention. This exciting program is a collection of premier and classic concert/movie musicals, music documentaries, and experimental cinematic concert events, including several video shorts by local Upstate New York Indie musicians and artists!
