What does it take to stand up against the odds to do something that has never been done before? A pinch of courage, an unflinching belief in destiny, a teaspoon of good luck but most importantly – friends. The Peanut Butter Falcon (2019), starring Zach Gottsagen, Shia LaBeouf, and Dakota Johnson perfectly illustrates what one group of unlikely heroes can do together to rise up in spite of a world of stigma and prejudice to achieve legendary results. The film champions kindness in its truest form leaving ripple effects throughout all the lives it touches reminding us that even the smallest gesture of friendship can have major effects down river.
