America is on the eve of a sexual revolution, and an iconoclastic 65-year-old woman named Estelle Griswold decides to challenge the State of Connecticut’s anti-contraception law by engineering her own arrest. And while the play deals with issues of enormous consequence, it transforms the story of this historic case into a highly theatrical, time-traveling romp for three accomplished actors.
