History of the Black Community in Hudson: A Discussion of the Black Legacy Association of Columbia County (BLACC) Collection
To celebrate the launch of a new website dedicated to the Black Legacy Association of Columbia County (BLACC) collection of oral histories, the Hudson Area Library will host a virtual panel discussion of the collection with Quintin Cross (Hudson/Catskill Housing Coalition) and Tiffany Garriga (Black Entrepreneur Market).
The BLACC collection is an archive of local oral histories, videos, images, and documents from the 1980s, donated to the library by Columbia Opportunities, Inc. in 2018. They are now organized, digitized, archived, and made accessible on a brand new website.
