Last tour of the season to the Hudson-Athens Lighthouse!
Ever wonder what life was like for the lightkeeper families who lived in the eight-room Hudson-Athens Lighthouse? Take a boat tour and find out! We’ll ferry you out to the 1874 Lighthouse in the middle of the Hudson River so you can learn all about it and enjoy the view!
The Hudson-Athens Lighthouse Preservation Society (HALPS) owns the Lighthouse and hosts the last public tour for the season this October 9th.
Tours depart from Hudson, NY and Athens, NY with the following schedule.
Tours depart from Henry Hudson Riverfront Park in Hudson at 11:00, 12:00, 1:00 and 2:00 pm.
Tours depart Athens Village Riverfront Park at 11:30, 12:30, 1:30, and 2:30 pm.
Walk-ups to the booth in each park are fine, but Reservations are suggested. Make reservations online at Hudsoncruises.com or by calling 518 828-5294. If the tour from Hudson is full, check tour from Athens.
The cost is $25 adults, $15 under 12. HALPS member tickets are $15 adults and $10 under 12. Join us as a member onsite or at www.hudsonathenslighthouse.org.
School groups can schedule visits from June through early October. Email lighthouse@hudsonathenslighthouse.org for information about how a visit the Hudson-Athens Lighthouse will complement your grade-level curriculum.
Hold Your Special Event on the Lighthouse! The Hudson-Athens Lighthouse is available for private and public tours and events. The lighthouse has been used for weddings, birthdays, reunions, and private parties. Email lighthouse@hudsonathenslighthouse.org.
