Lidey Heuck Book Signing
Please join us in welcoming cook, writer, and New York Times Cooking contributor Lidey Heuck to Talbott & Arding, in celebration of her first cookbook: Cooking in Real Life. Lidey worked as Ina Garten’s assistant at the Barefoot Contessa for 7 years.
Our kitchen will prepare 2-3 recipes from her cookbook and will feature them in our prepared foods case and pastry counter. We will also cook 1 recipe as a taste giveaway as Lidey signs copies of her book.
Ina writes in the foreword to the book, “Lidey subscribes to the same theory of home cooking that I do. We all want recipes that have ingredients you can buy in almost any grocery store, recipes that are easy enough to make without breaking a sweat and will be delicious and satisfying for either an ordinary weekday dinner or for a special occasion.”
Designed to be crowd-pleasing and cook-pleasing, these recipes will inspire you to make dinner even when you don’t feel like cooking.
