Making (Dark) Waves
Frenchy and the Punk
Smashing together electro-acoustic hybrid guitars, loop pedals, fiery live acoustic and electronic percussion and synths, Frenchy and the Punk draw inspiration from post-punk legends like The Cure, the upbeat energy and percussive textures of Adam and the Ants, the bewitching mystique of Siouxsie and the Banshees, and the quirky charm of The B-52’s. French-born singer, keyboardist, percussionist, Samantha Stephenson and guitarist Scott Helland (founding member of hardcore punk band Deep Wound whose members J Mascis and Lou Barlow went on to form Dinosaur jr.) are a two person powerhouse of sound touring extensively year round across the US and Europe. “…a wonderful alchemy of complementary energies.” (Post-Punk.com)

Twice Dark
Twice Dark weaves together Goth, Industrial, EBM, Italo Disco, Deathrock, Cold Wave, and Dark Wave, capturing a haunting elegance reminiscent of a forgotten era. “Dipped in auditory shadows and echoing with the retro resonance of the 1980s music scene…like a phantom reaching out through the fog of time.” (Post-Punk.com) Music Video: https://youtu.be/RN4oT0BKdl4
