Narcan Training in Hudson
Senator Hinchey’s office is partnering with Columbia County Pathways to Recovery to host a free Narcan (naloxone) training at the Henry Hudson Riverfront Park Pavilion in Hudson on Friday, August 18, from 5:30 – 6:30 pm.
During the training, participants will learn how to recognize the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose and how to properly administer Narcan, which is a fast-acting medication that can be used to temporarily reverse the effects of an overdose. Participants will receive a free Narcan emergency kit to take home. There is no sign-up necessary.
