‘Outside The Lines’ Students & Teachers Showcase at CREATE
CREATE Council on the Arts is paying tribute to our region’s rising, young artists for National Youth Art Month with an exhibition celebrating both students and the teachers nurturing their talents. The forty-second annual “Outside The Lines” youth showcase is putting the spotlight on artwork by K-12th grade students and instructors from a dozen Greene, Columbia and Schoharie county schools.
“Outside the Lines” gives students the unique opportunity to exhibit their artwork in a professional gallery and allows visitors to see a wide cross-section of the diversity and promise of our region’s young, creative talent. CREATE’s extraordinary annual exhibit is made possible by the participation of numerous teachers, administrators, students and their families.
Participating schools include: Cairo-Durham High School, Catskill Elementary, Catskill High School, Catskill Middle School, Coxsackie-Athens Elementary/Edward J Arthur, Coxsackie-Athens High School, Germantown Central School, Gilboa-Conesville Central School, Hudson High School, Montgomery C. Smith Elementary, Schoharie Elementary and Schoharie High School.
An opening reception will be held on Saturday, March 15th from 2-5pm which coincides with the Catskill Gallery Crawl, with a closing reception on Sunday, March 30th from 11am-1pm. “Outside the Lines” 2025 will be on view March 14th to March 30th.
