Pooches Out of Puerto Rico (POOPR) Dog Adoption Day and Fundraiser

On Sunday, June 18, which is Father’s Day, Pooches Out of Puerto Rico (POOPR), a local not-for-profit that rescues dogs from the streets and high-risk shelters of Puerto Rico and transports them to the Northeast, is holding a Dog Adoption Day, from noon to 5:00 p.m., at Henry Hudson Riverfront Park.

• Vintage car show
• A kids’ craft table
• Dog training questions and answers
• Information about the dog crisis in Puerto Rico
• Come for the puppies and dogs, rescued from homelessness and distress, who need safe and loving furever homes!
