Get ready for a night of thrills, chills, and hometown horror! Sleepover Trading Co. and Avalon Lounge invite you to an exclusive screening of THE WOODS, a brand-new horror film shot right here in Catskill and throughout upstate New York.
What starts as a nostalgic reunion turns into a nightmare. Four best friends—bonded since a fateful middle school hike—set out to recreate their adventure before college pulls them apart. But the woods have a mind of their own. As eerie forces twist their reality, the friends unravel in tragic ways. Years later, the horrifying truth is revealed on a true crime podcast—through the words of the lone survivor, Kate Reed.
This special screening will also include an introduction and post-film Q&A with director Sarah Lyons as well as a trademark Sleepover Trading Co. clipshow featuring vintage trailers and throwback commercials. The pre-show begins at 7:00pm with the film at 7:30pm at the Avalon Lounge (29 Church Street, Catskill, NY).
