The Olana Partnership FREE Third Thursdays / Tercer Jueves at Olana State Historic Site

The Olana Partnership will hold its monthly FREE Third Thursdays on January 16th from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM at Olana State Historic Site. Olana Third Thursdays are free monthly community days of tours and programs for all ages. Visitors can start the day looking mindfully at works of art in the Sharp Family Gallery in the Historic House. Morning Mindfulness in the Gallery held from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, will be led Alison Fox (MFA), an artist and Creative Arts Therapy student.

Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited. Email education@olana.org for more information. From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, visitors are welcome to stop by the Wagon House Education Center for a free Drop-in Drawing with Pen and Pencil workshop, led by The Olana Partnership teaching artists and educators. Visitors are encouraged to use inspiration from their visit to Olana to create personal works of art.

All materials will be provided, and all ages are welcome. Additionally, visitors are invited to enjoy free historic landscape and house tours from 11:00 AM to 3:15 PM. A Spanish language tour will be given at 2:45 PM. Reservations are not available; guided landscape and timed-entry house tickets can be reserved onsite, day-of, in the Frederic Church Center between 11:00 AM – 3:15 PM.
