Peter Carlaftes and Kat Georges are co-directors and acquisitions editors for Three Rooms Press, an independent publisher inspired by diversity, Dada, punk, and passion. Peter is also a poet, playwright, author, and actor. The most recent of his seven published books is the poetry collection, Life in the Past Lane. Kat is a poet, playwright, and graphic designer. Her latest book is the poetry collection Awe and Other Words Like Wow. Peter and Kat are co-editors of the annual Dada writing and art journal, MAINTENANT. They live in New York City.
Andrea Kleine is the author of the novels CALF and EDEN– named one of “Summer’s Smartest and Most Innovative Thrillers” by Vanity Fair and a finalist for a Publishing Triangle Award. Her work includes fiction, essays, performances, and, most recently, films. Her feature film, THE END IS NOT WHAT I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE, created in isolation during the pandemic, is now streaming. Andrea will be an artist-in-residence at the Baryshnikov Arts Center this fall, and she recently received a 2024 NYSCA grant for her novel-in-progress, HOW TO MAKE FRIENDS WITH BIRDS.
Jerl Surratt’s poems have appeared or are forthcoming in The Amsterdam Quarterly, The Hopkins Review, Kenyon Review, Literary Imagination, PN Review, and in other journals and anthologies in the US, UK, and Canada. A longtime writer in NYC for nonprofit organizations providing early childhood education, health care, LGBTQ+ civil rights protections and social services, Jerl now lives and works in Hudson.
