From Director Martin Scorsese comes the epic farewell show of The Band at San Francisco’s Winterland Ballroom on November 25, 1976. This documentary features standout performances by rock legends such as Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, Joni Mitchell and Muddy Waters, as well as interviews discussing the group’s history and life on the road.
The Story Screen Music Film Festival (SSMFF) is a new film festival spotlighting both music-based cinematic storytelling and the songwriters and musical storytellers whose words and music deserve our collective attention. This exciting program is a collection of premier and classic concert/movie musicals, music documentaries, and experimental cinematic concert events, including several video shorts by local Upstate New York Indie musicians and artists!
