Hudson in Concert: A Community Celebration

Please join us tomorrow evening for our favorite musical event of the year.  We’ve assembled musicians from near and far.  Students, local artists and an international contingent as well.  We’ll be featuring tango dancers, a Ukrainian contralto, an original composition inspired by a Native American myth, the celebration of our own Hudson-Athens Lighthouse and much, much more.  It’s “Hudson in Concert – A Community Celebration.”  It’s FREE at the waterfront in Hudson.

Gazebo acts begin at 5 with performances under the tent starting at 7.   And unlike last year, there is no rain in the forecast.   Weather reports say it should be perfect.  Join us to see more than 70 musicians and our 55-piece orchestra.  Bring a picnic or take advantage of the food vendors on site – Kurb Dog, Hamrah’s Lebanese Food, Ukrainian specialties, Middle Eastern selections from Schwarma’s Cart, Jamaican Jerk Chicken and more from Bags & Barbecue, Culture Cream – ice cream, pop-corn, snow cones and cotton candy.  This event is one of the joys of being in Hudson!
