Introverted teen by day, anonymous pirate radio provocateur by night, Mark Hunter (Christian Slater) shares his angst via a shortwave radio in his parents’ basement. Hunter’s trash-talking persona Hard Harry gives voice to the growing discontent of his fellow youth and, with encouragement from the rebellious Nora (Samantha Mathis), he soon becomes the reluctant leader of a suburban revolution.
