Rally in Support of Ukraine in Hudson, NY
National security expert Malcolm Nance to speak
HUDSON, NY: On Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM, there will be a rally in support of Ukraine’s independence at the park located at 7th Street and Warren Street in Hudson, NY. The rally calls on the U.S. government to continue its support for Ukraine in its struggle to resist the Russian Federation’s illegal invasion of its country.
On February 28 of this year, the US opposed a United Nations resolution condemning Moscow’s actions and supporting Ukraine’s territorial integrity. In doing so, the US voted with Russia, North Korea, and Belarus, all nations with authoritarian leaders, and not with our European allies. This shocking vote was a wake-up call for those in our nation who are invested in maintaining the world order established with the formation of NATO in 1949, which has largely maintained peace in our lifetime.
Speakers at the rally will include Malcolm Nance, a national security expert who has been a contributor to MSNBC and who served in the Ukrainian Army’s International Legion, along with members of the local Ukrainian-American community and representatives of groups supporting Ukraine. “Ukraine is the Eastern wall of democracy and as we struggle to hold up the Western world, we cannot surrender in the face of Russia’s continued aggression,” says Nance. “Tyranny must be combated on all fronts, even here at home.
