The Olana Partnership FREE Third Thursdays / Tercer Jueves at Olana State Historic Site

The Olana Partnership will hold its monthly FREE Third Thursdays on September 19th from 12:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Olana State Historic Site. Olana Third Thursdays are free monthly community days of tours and programs for all ages. The September Third Thursday will feature two free outdoor musical performances and free tours, programs, and extended evening hours. Travel back in time to Olana’s ice age past and join geologist Robert Titus from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM for a walking tour showcasing Olana’s artist-designed landscape through science and storytelling. During this program, participants will learn more about the geological history of Olana and the forces that shaped Frederic Church’s masterwork. The Olana Partnership will be hosting two concerts on the East Lawn for a full evening of free outdoor music! From 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM, drop by for a special performance by local folk musician Naomi Westwater. Bring a picnic and listen to lively tunes while enjoying Olana’s landscape. Later in the evening, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, join us for a performance led by Perry Foster. Invite your friends and enjoy this spectacular end-of-summer concert at Olana. The musical performances will take place outdoors near the Main House; check in at Olana’s Visitor Center for more information day-of. Relax and unwind with vibrant music as the sun sets at Olana.

Visitors are also invited to enjoy free historic landscape and house tours of Olana from 12:30 PM – 6:00 PM. Additionally, a Spanish language tour will be given at 12:00 PM. Reservations are not available; guided landscape and timed-entry house tickets can be reserved on-site, day-of, in the Museum Store between 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited.
